Way to go . . . . !!!

Swedish vikings revelling at the dinghy park at the World´s in 1970 at Plymouth having snatched both 1st (C. Bath/P. Bath) and 2nd (G. Källfelt/M. Carlsson) place in one of the races, thus showing viking supremacy in "trapeze working conditions" (Force 3 and above!).

In the crowd you can see:

Back row from left:

Göran Källfelt - who does not recall "Goran Scullfete" beatifully performing with swedish romantic folklore songs at various international prize giving parties, especially the timeless legend "Drängen"
Reine Andersson - ITWU-member and deputy consierge at L´Hermitage Hotel in La Baule 1967. Only a "shoulder away" from winning the Worlds in Santa Cruz in 1971!
Anders Anderberg - ITWU-member and crew of Klas Forsell
Hans Andersson - women´s delight in every yacht club
Hans Heijl - ITWU-member and inventor of "racer-olja"
Göran andersson - ITWU-member, Marinex sailmaker and former World OK Champion!
Göran Pettersson - ITWU-member and its legal counsellor
Pelle Båth - ITWU-member and namesake with new yachting swear word first heard in Marstrand in 1964. The Farrant bros. thought Christer was swearing when repeatedly shouting "Pelle, Pelle, Pelle...", but it was just his way of saying that the damn ITWU-member was not quick enough
Peter Stenesjö - ITWU-member and crew of Mats Robertsson

Middle row:

Klas Forsell - proved that wearing a beard was not a problem upwind as far as drag was concerned, but it was when it came to enjoying a foamy pint
Anders Heuman - the man who fought ITWU the longest
Stig Pettersson
Mats Robertsson - navigated his 505 as scillfully as his oil tanker
Björn Arnesson - Marinex sailmaker and former World OK Champion!

Lying:

Stefan Sjöström - the North Sea snaps world record holder (24 x 2 cl!) still alive. Would have snatched the World Title in -71 if Reine wouldn´t have dislocated his shoulder in the last race!

Missing (probably having a leak!?):

Christer Båth, Mats Carlsson & the Törner brothers
